Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter & Banana
Getting bored of being home all day? Eating junk food and snacks all the time and feeling guilty?
Making some homemade snacks/desserts is a great activity that you can do alone or with your kids. It’s also a great way to stay healthier because you can choose which ingredients to use and how much.
Start with something simple. You don’t want to be in the kitchen for hours and end up with eclairs that don’t rise. Pick something that takes only 10 minutes of preparation and is hard to mess up. How about our Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter & Banana?
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup chocolate
1 banana
2 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp peanuts
DIRECTIONS:
Place parchment sheet on a tray.
Melt the chocolate
Cut banana in half crosswise, then lengthwise.
Spread 1/2 tbsp peanut butter on each slice.
Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp peanuts on each slice.
Dip the banana with peanut butter and peanuts in the melted chocolate
Place on a parchment sheet.
Keep it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
